Kelly:The holiday book that spawned the cartoon that rocks my world

This is the book that started it all.
Before Chuck Jones received that fateful call.
This book in hand gave Chuck all that he needed-
He rushed off to his drawing table and his pencil speeded.
When done - there it was a, Christmas masterpiece.
Then all of the joy he felt started to cease.
He realized one can not improve upon perfection.
It was Dr. Seuss who provided the ultimate Christmas reflection:

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. "

Best - ever.
Who doesn't want to read like Boris Karloff to their kids on Christmas Eve?

See how good it is?  - 3 of us picked it!!!
