I was a big fan of Beverly Cleary in 4th and 5th grade. But my favorite was the first book that I read from her, The Mouse and the Motorcycle. Hmm, just something about a little mouse with a taste for danger tickled me then and still today.
If all mice rode motorcycles - I would let them roll on thru Hot Dog House.... Also- if they were as cute as this one. I liked Beverly Cleary too. I was just talking about her books that kids should still read them - they are timeless.
I love the little mouse's expression in this! He looks so excited to start his adventure. Very cute character and he makes me want to go back and check out the book again!
