Tickled Pink with Heather

This is a watercolor sketch from a few months ago.  I just spent 24 hours on the road driving home from an extended early summer vacation.  I'm feeling all sorts of post-vacation blues today - so this is a nice jolt of color to pick me up! 

Are you tickled pink or singing the blues today? 

Or yella' bellied

or green around the edges

or green with envy? 

Or maybe you are white as a ghost looking at your to-do list

or chasing rainbows as you dream impossible dreams!

This was supposed to be a simple sketch featuring a sweet moment, but as often happens when I'm developing a backstory for an image, the rest of the story demanded to be told!
