What's more ghoulish and frightening than a witch fattening up a child so she can eat him?!
I love our topics for this month but I am having the hardest time getting pencil to paper, so I thought I'd share this old comic panel. (Note the dot eyes, the overworked watercolor and scanner induced color blow-out-augh!) I'd like to think I've grown significantly since this piece.

I refuse to let our blog get no comments. Your style has really changed- but what you've always had , which is evident here and in your new work- is such good composition and playfulness. Somethings you get better at- somethings you're just born with awesomeness at.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! You have such a great sense of humor, Diandra, too! Playful is a great word to describe your images.
ReplyDeleteI like the fun panel composition and I agree - your whimsical style and humor have always been there!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have suspicions confirmed. :)I'm writing down your feedback to remind me of what I am good at for those days when I have doubts. Thank ya ladies!
