Maurice Sendak's "Little Bear" has to be one of my favorite renditions of a bear cub. So cute and realistic with all kinds of personality.
I've always loved the idea of a bear cub having a doll, irony of a child having a Teddy Bear, hehe!

I thought this bear looked familiar! I too loved Little Bear. My favorite story was when he was attempting to fly to the moon as an astronaut, with a box on his head as his helmet.

I luv the little Bear art. I love how Maurice Sendak pays homage to classic childrens' book illustration from the turn of the century that he grew up with. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is cute! Great pose on the bear. There is a book just out by Peter Brown called "People Make Terrible Pets", about a bear who takes a child as a pet. Reminded me of this.
