Dogs of the Future

 

Here is a sketch that I started on tracing paper and transferred to the inside of a card that I'm going to send to a friend (I still plan to add some color with either colored pencils or watercolors). She lives in an apartment now and wants to start out with a Pug or a Frenchie, and someday wants to have a Newfie or a Great Pyrenees when she's in a house. These future dogs are so lucky because she is a real sweetheart and she's going to give them a great home someday!

 Happy Friday! This little character is part of a series of new art I've been working on. Tiny little gnome weenie dogs! I did this sketch in Photoshop and still like to use blue, like when I sketch on paper with my col-erase pencils of my animation days.

Happy International Happiness Day!

 

Today is the International Day of Happiness and French Language Day. This blackbird is called a merle in français and I see and hear them singing their little hearts out every day. It’s sweet and a touch sad but beautiful. Happiness comes in many forms, most of them small and scattered.
