Happy Father's Day

My Dad is gone but it was nice to think of him today. I searched my childhood memories and this is from waaay back when guys, Dads included, worked out in the garage. Those weights scared me-- they were so heavy! But my big strong father could lift them. I was always so relived when he finished bench pressing.

Early sketches from THE PECULIAR PIG

Here is an early sketch of some of the piglet characters from my new book THE PECULIAR PIG, coming in a few weeks! June 18 it's out in the world.

The piglets changed quite a bit, along with this early version of the story. It's fun to see the progression of both. Almost like watching your child grow and evolve! Well, almost.
