April Fool the Crossing Guard-Kelly

Pulled out of the sketchbook this week, a doodle I did after dropping the kid off at school a while ago.  There is a cat that waits every morning to walk all of the kids to school from the corner to the door. It looks like it SO wants to go in with them. It crosses and crosses back over and over again. The kids , especially my daughter want to get him in, just for one day. AND we have a crossing guard that is a weeeeee bit.... foolish. She'd never ever figure it out- if the cat just carried a back pack!! - Happy April Fools -  watch out for whoopie cushions!

Diandra-Fool

Some people think that tightrope performers are fools. I think anyone who thinks juggling while wearing floppy shoes and balancing on a vehicle that they can't even see is a good idea, may have seriously  impaired judgment. ;)

Spring! Spring! A Wonderful Thing!-Kelly

I wish it were so! It snowed, it snained (snow and rain) and it hailed the last 24 hours here in Long Island. I wanted to call LLBean and order 3 dozed mini-parkas for my sprouting daffodils. Spring come soon! Please!?

Priscilla ~ Welcoming Springtime

Susie loved wildflowers and springtime leaves, but mostly ladybugs and always made sure they had plenty of shade.

Diandra- Spring!

Spring is my favorite season. The weather is lovely (and sometimes nice enough that you forget to dread the awful end months of Summer here in Texas.) and there are things growing all over the place! It makes a person want to be productive, with the spring cleaning, trimming, planting and all.
But sometimes lovely days make great napping weather. :)

Priscilla ~ St. Patrick's Day early

"Let's get started.  First let's sing Happy St. Patrick's Day and then we'll play some fun games like hide-and-seek and red rover, and then we'll have a fashion show, and then we'll play follow the leader, and then you can help me set the table for our cupcakes!", said she.

Everyone knows a leprechaun's gold is found at the end of the rainbow, but few know that he actually earns every gold coin with his jiving banjo tunes outside the Under the Rainbow Pub. Oh, and that he's a piggie.

(Thanks, Angela! You can see more of Angela's fantastic work here.)

Priscilla ~ March Holiday Fun

Perhaps a lesser known March holiday to us humans, but somewhere out there throughout our land, pigs are probably celebrating with family and friends!   =0)

 Ode to Peanut Butter

I love you in sandwiches,
and chocolate too,
I love you in cookies,
This much is true.

When I eat you up
my troubles begin,
try as I might,
you always win.

There's no use fighting
My mouth is quite stuck
No peanut butter for me
Curse my bad luck.

(Thanks, Michelle! You can see more of Michelle's work here.)

Peanut Butter Treats with Heather

Peanut butter wrapped in chocolate - now that's what I'm talking about.

I see I'm not the only who is nuts about this combination.  Get it, nuts.

Ha, I know that's enough from the peanut gallery.

I blog over here where you can find crafty goodness and whimsy.

Diandra-Peanut Butter

What was initially a simple concept: an elephant love peanuts, soon got a life of its own and became a little comic about just how far an elephant and his friend would go to enjoy a favorite snack.

Click to enlarge it. I think the third and fifth panels are my favorite.
(Edit: I went ahead and colored panel 3! See it here.)
